Ubuntu Running On Nexus S

previously, i have post the MeeGo running on Nexus S smartphone without flashing phone. stroughtonsmith booted the Ubuntu OS on the Nexus S using the same method and same kernel.

How to install Ubuntu on Nexus S?
  • Grab a copy of Ubuntu for HD2
  • Take the rootfs.ext2 file and drag it to your Nexus S smartphone and put it in a folder called ‘ubuntu’
  • Use fastboot to boot (this boot img)
  • ADB push this file to /etc/X11/xorg.conf
  • Finally, reboot Ubuntu
