Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 New Competitors of Xoom and G-Slate

Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablets recently. As the name suggests, the screen is used no longer as wide as 7 inches, 10.1-inch but that does not vary much with the screen width iPad. When Tab previously included in the category of medium-size device that is still closer to the phone, is now arguably 10.1 Tab is a measure of real tablets.

Tab 10.1 is rumored to be carrying the new Honeycomb 3.0 Android OS which has been adjusted for the tablet (more leverage is used in 10-inch screen rather than 7 inches). 10.1 Front Tabs looks similar to the IPAD with a black bezel wrapped with aluminum frames. But behind the look is different, taking design Samsung Galaxy S to the panel behind, with texture and contour suitable to be grasped in the hands, making it more solid tablets. While the weight seems lighter than the current iPad.

Inside Tab has 10.1 Tegra powered dual core processors the same as the Motorola Xoom tablet (tablet first honeycomb). Screen to accommodate resolution of 1280 x 800 (WXGA) and has a rear 8MP camera with LED flash, capable of 1080p video recording, 2MP camera front, the network operates at 850/900/1900/2100 and EDGE/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, USB 2.0, and WiFi a/b/g/n.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has dimensions 246.2 x 170.4 x 10.9mm and weighs 599 grams. The tablet also comes with 6860mAh battery.
